POSTER ICEBATS 2018 LATEST.jpg
Importance of ecological and socioeconomic  roles of aquatic ecosystems.

ICEBATS 2018 is the result of cooperation between SEAL NET, Universiti Sains Malaysia and LIPI forged to address critical issues faced by our societies in the wake of globalization. Major developments have been observed throughout Asia and the South East Asian regions  often at the expense of ecosystems that are already fragile and exposed to frequent large scale human activities. This conference is a platform for researchers, scientists, managers, policymakers and local communities that are determined to find sustainable solutions to preserve natural resources and biodiversity of this unique region.
